Audit Firms in Jeddah

Jeddah audits are trading, logistics and Hajj-adjacent files as often as they are headquarters files. Inventory at the Islamic Port, related-party trading with a Riyadh parent, and customs data that must match the sales ledger are where opinions get delayed. The auditor still needs a SOCPA licence. ISZ Global shortlists SOCPA-registered firms that actually work in Jeddah, not only a Riyadh partner who flies in for sign-off. We do not audit. You appoint.

Jeddah is a port city, not a Riyadh satellite

A partner who only signs Riyadh headquarters files will miss bonded stock, transit sales and the seasonality of the Red Sea trade. Ask how many Jeddah trading audits they signed in the last two years, and whether the team will count inventory where it actually sits.

Makkah and Madina companies sometimes keep finance in Jeddah. Tell us the licence city. This page is Jeddah; we will not pretend a Makkah CR is a Jeddah file.

Zakat and VAT still apply. The auditor coordinates with those agents and stays independent of them.

Fieldwork that belongs in Jeddah

  • Stock counts at the Islamic Port, warehouses and showrooms — not only a Riyadh trial balance.
  • Customs and VAT reconciliations on imports.
  • Related-party purchases from a Riyadh or foreign parent.
  • A management letter the owner in Jeddah can act on, in Arabic if that is the working language.

How matching works

Tell us inventory, the parent map and the year-end. We shortlist two or three Jeddah-capable SOCPA firms within 24 hours. You appoint. Fees vary; request a quote. The Riyadh audit page is next door if the entity is actually a headquarters file.

Port stock, seasonality and the Jeddah letter

Write down where stock sits: Islamic Port, a bonded warehouse, a showroom on the Corniche, a yard in the industrial area. The count date in the engagement letter should name those places. A letter that only says 'Jeddah inventory' is how counts get skipped.

Hajj and Umrah-adjacent businesses have lumpy revenue. Tell the auditor the season in week one so they do not treat a quiet month as a going-concern crisis or a peak month as unexplained growth. Trading companies with a Riyadh parent should put the related-party policy on the table before fieldwork, not after the draft.

Customs declarations must reconcile to purchases and to VAT. If those three do not talk to each other, the audit will stop. That stop is useful. Appoint a bookkeeper to fix it rather than asking the auditor to 'adjust'. ISZ Global can match the bookkeeper separately.

Makkah and Madina remain off this URL. If the CR is there, say so in the match request. We will not pretend this Jeddah page covers the holy cities.

Questions for a Jeddah auditor

Jeddah files die on skipped counts and on partners who only know Riyadh. Put the count and the team in the letter. Then appoint. ISZ Global does not count your stock.

  • Where will you count stock, and on which date?
  • How many Jeddah trading or logistics files did you sign last year?
  • How do you reconcile customs, purchases and VAT?
  • Will the Riyadh partner fly in only for sign-off, or is there a Jeddah team?
  • How do you treat Hajj-season revenue so it is not 'unexplained'?
  • Will you also file Zakat? (No.)
  • Is a Makkah or Madina CR in this letter, or do we need another match?
  • What is out of scope if the parent in Riyadh already has a group auditor?

After you appoint a Jeddah auditor

Lock the stock-count date and the places — port, bonded warehouse, showroom — in the same week. Send customs files and the related-party policy with the Riyadh parent before fieldwork, not after the first draft.

If customs, purchases and VAT do not reconcile, stop the audit and appoint a bookkeeper. Asking the auditor to 'adjust' those three is how Jeddah files get qualified opinions they did not need.

A Riyadh fly-in partner needs a named Jeddah team on the letter. Makkah and Madina stay off this URL. ISZ Global does not count stock and does not file Zakat.

Who needs this in this city

  • Jeddah trading companies whose stock sits at the port or in bonded warehouses
  • Logistics and Hajj-season businesses whose revenue is lumpy
  • Branches whose Riyadh parent wants a local SOCPA opinion
  • Owners whose last auditor never visited Jeddah

How it works

  1. 1Share the CR, inventory locations, year-end and whether a Riyadh parent exists
  2. 2Receive 2–3 SOCPA firms with Jeddah fieldwork capacity
  3. 3You compare the visit plan and appoint
  4. 4They audit. ISZ Global does not sign

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Riyadh group auditor skip visiting Jeddah?

Sometimes the group opinion is signed in Riyadh, but inventory in Jeddah still has to be counted. Ask who will be on site and when. A fly-in sign-off with no count is the usual delay.

Do you cover Makkah on this page?

No. This URL is Jeddah. If the Commercial Registration is Makkah, tell us in the match request rather than using this page as a substitute.

Does ISZ Global perform this work?

No. We shortlist vetted firms. You appoint. The licence, the report and the filing stay with the firm you choose.
