Audit Firms in Riyadh

Riyadh statutory audits are SOCPA-licensed opinions for Commercial Registration renewal, bank facilities, CMA or sector files, and the pack ZATCA often wants next to the Zakat or income-tax return. Headquarters, mixed-ownership groups and Vision 2030 contractors all sit here. A Dubai Ministry licence is not a SOCPA licence. ISZ Global shortlists SOCPA-registered audit firms that already sign Riyadh companies. We do not audit. You appoint.

SOCPA, not a UAE Ministry stamp

Saudi statutory audits are signed by SOCPA-licensed auditors. Banks, MISA renewals and many ZATCA processes expect that signature. A UAE Ministry-licensed firm is the right appointment for Dubai, not for a Riyadh Commercial Registration.

Headquarters files in Riyadh often include branches in Jeddah or Dammam. Tell us the group map. A Riyadh opinion can cover the group if the engagement is written that way; it will not cover a separate Jeddah company by accident.

The auditor should not be the Zakat agent and should not keep the books. Independence is why the bank accepts the report.

What Riyadh readers actually ask for

  • Commercial Registration renewal and MISA files.
  • Bank facilities and covenant reporting.
  • CMA or sector-ministry packs, where you are regulated.
  • A set of statements ZATCA will accept next to the Zakat or income-tax return.
  • English working papers if the parent or the lender is offshore.

How matching works in Riyadh

Tell us ownership, year-end, and whether Zakat, income tax or a CMA file sits beside the audit. We shortlist two or three SOCPA firms in Riyadh within 24 hours. You appoint. Fees vary with group complexity; request a quote.

Jeddah and Dammam audit pages exist if the entity actually lives there. Do not use this page as a doorway for every Saudi city.

Riyadh fieldwork, group maps and the first week

Have ready: Commercial Registration, articles, ownership split, last opinion, trial balance, bank facilities, Zakat or income-tax return, and a list of branches. A Riyadh headquarters that quietly operates in Jeddah and Dammam is a group audit whether or not last year's letter said so.

Ask who the SOCPA signing partner is, whether they will visit, and whether English working papers are in the fee. Mixed-ownership groups with an offshore parent almost always need the English pack. A cheaper Arabic-only file that the lender cannot read is not cheaper.

The first week should produce a group map, a site list, a draft date, and a written statement that the firm will not also be the Zakat agent or the bookkeeper. If they offer to 'do everything', that is the red flag, not a convenience.

CMA or sector-regulated entities should say so immediately. The shortlist changes. A trading-company auditor who has never signed a regulated Riyadh file is the wrong economy, even if the fee looks kind.

Questions for a Riyadh SOCPA auditor

A Riyadh audit is a SOCPA signature plus a group map plus independence. If any of those three is missing from the letter, keep the next firm. ISZ Global does not sign.

  • Show me your SOCPA licence and the partner who will sign.
  • How many mixed-ownership Riyadh groups did you sign in the last two years?
  • Will you visit Jeddah or Dammam branches, or is this a headquarters-only opinion?
  • Are English working papers in the fee?
  • Will you file Zakat or keep the books? (Both should be no.)
  • What is the draft date against our CR, bank or CMA deadline?
  • How do you treat related-party balances that also sit in the Zakat base?
  • Who takes the bank's call after sign-off?

After you appoint a Riyadh auditor

Send the CR, ownership split, branch list and last opinion in the week you sign. Ask the partner to return a group map and a site list within five working days. Headquarters that hide Jeddah and Dammam until fieldwork are how opinions slip.

Confirm in writing that the firm will not file Zakat and will not keep the books. If English papers are required by the lender or the parent, that goes in the fee, not in a surprise invoice after the draft.

CMA or sector files change the calendar. Name the reader. The Zakat agent should meet the auditor and remain a different firm. ISZ Global does not sign the opinion.

Who needs this in this city

  • Riyadh companies whose CR or bank has asked for audited statements
  • Mixed-ownership groups that also file Zakat and income tax
  • CMA or sector-regulated entities that must appoint a SOCPA auditor
  • Owners whose UAE auditor has never signed a Riyadh file

How it works

  1. 1Share the CR, ownership split, year-end and who will read the report
  2. 2Receive 2–3 SOCPA firms that sign Riyadh files for that reader
  3. 3You compare the partner and the letter, then appoint
  4. 4They audit. ISZ Global does not sign

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my Dubai auditor sign the Riyadh company?

Only if they hold a SOCPA licence and will do the work in Saudi Arabia. A UAE Ministry licence is not enough. Ask them to confirm SOCPA registration in writing.

Should the auditor also file Zakat?

No. Keep the SOCPA auditor independent of the Zakat agent. You can ask for both in one match request; the firms should differ.

Does ISZ Global perform this work?

No. We shortlist vetted firms. You appoint. The licence, the report and the filing stay with the firm you choose.
